No Registration Fee Due IPTA

More than 41 thousand new students to the Institute of Higher Learning for the academic session 2011-2012, no need to pay a registration fee when starting employment 3 September this.

Instead, only the registration fee will be deducted from the loan of the National Higher Education Fund Corporation applied for once the loan is approved.

Higher Education Minister in a statement said the postponement of the registration fee was introduced last year and continued this year, reduce the burden of students and families, particularly low-income earners.

The move is in line fighting for the democratization of the government's intention to ensure access to tertiary education among the citizen.

A total of 41.267 points offered to school leavers and the Malaysian High School Certificate equivalent, at 20 IPTA this year, an increase of 1.9 percent from a year ago.
